Greetings! After production wrapped, I fell into a “hiatus” which didn’t feel like a real hiatus, because I still had to go to work or whatever at some other job. But, things are rolling again on Javatown and this is a (very) rough cut of a scene from the film. (There’s also a temp track underneath it which will not be used in the final cut.)

Amy and Jeff engage in an A and B conversation. So, C your way out of it.

Jeff prevents Thomas from pwning his ass by receiving sexts from random girl.

Party planning. It’s srs bsns.
So, once up on a time in Mexico (actually, Texas) there was a young filmmaker who threw caution to the wind and said, “I’ll just do it all, dammit.”
While I’m not RobRod, I’ve “attended” his ten minute film school and I embrace a similar philosophy. To me, it’s about getting it done. If that means doing it your damn self, then so be it.
Due to some communication error and, well, life… I’ll be taking up the DP position for this movie. Since my last picture, I’ve taken a lighting workshop and read up on some, you know, stuff. I know this doesn’t make me a BAMF cinematographer, but I’m in this to learn and do and express. So, hot diggity.
This also means I have 36 hours to fiddle with and learn all about the little baby HD Canon VIXIA I’ve acquired. It’s tiny, but totally capabale.
I do this movie making thing because I want to tell stories, because I want to share my inside jokes with the rest of you, because I love the process.
Again, if you truly support the independent spirit, you can always donate through the PayPal link to the left. If you can’t afford to part with the cash, then thank you for the positive thoughts. And thank you to every single person who HAS donated. All of you are making dreams a reality and it’s deeply, deeply appreciated.
If you’ll excuse me, I have to go play around with this camera.

Any and all donations of any size are greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
